What a season
Enduro racing got a fresh surge of energy and optimism in 2025, with the World Cup series visiting seven excellent venues and the year culminating in a brilliant World Championships.
The season started with a return to adventurous multi-day racing that riders had been begging for, with Finale Outdoor Region in Italy opening the 2025 Enduro World Cup season, and delivering one of the best events in recent times.
From there, racing took place in venues across Europe and all sorts of terrains and conditions. La Thuile, one of the true classics, was back on the schedule and the venue put on an unforgettable event that showcased enduro at its best: massive mountain stages and a first-ever night stage that brought in huge crowds.
A new wave of eager young racers showed that enduro racing has a bright future: Winni Goldsbury and Simona Kuchyňková brought raw energy to the series and turned it into podium performances; another first-year elite, Elly Hoskin, won two rounds and the World Championships.
Established elites had inspiring performances, too: reigning World Champion Alex Rudeau won a round despite missing most of the series; Jesse Melamed was back to his best and at winning pace. Meanwhile, the multi-talented Dan Booker brought his flair back to the series to win two rounds. New series champions were crowned in Ella Conolly and Sławomir Łukasik, with both riders winning three races each and taking the series titles with a round to spare.
The whole story is packed into the 244 pages of this eighth and latest edition of The World Stage, the enduro mountain bike yearbook.

Why we make mountain bike books
Misspent Summers has been making the mountain bike books since 2016. We started this company because, as fans of the sport, we wanted to record the history of mountain biking in a permanent format. Since then, we have produced dozens of high-quality coffee table mountain bike books that cover racing, riding and brand stories. Our books live on the bookshelves and tables of mountain biking’s biggest fans, as well as in bike shops and businesses the world over.
