MELTDOWN COVER

One of our favourite-ever book covers, taken straight from Meltdown, our 2020 all-things-mountain-bike yearbook.

Not only is the cover design lively and the subject unforgettable, but the main wraparound photo from New Zealand’s McGazza Fest (named for the late Kelly McGarry) sublime: raw style and steeze by rider Jack Brownlie boosting to the moon on a stripped-down Iron Horse Sunday. Shot by Sven Martin.

Why buy from Misspent Summers
Misspent Summers is an independent company run by passionate mountain bikers. You may think it is a small organisation, but it’s probably much smaller than you think. That’s why every single purchase makes a big difference and helps us keep the lights on, doing our work recording the history of mountain biking and hopefully inspiring people to ride more bikes.
