When photographer (and Misspent Summers director) Ben Winder headed out to Greece to shoot photos alongside Tommy Caldwell while he filmed Tea & Biscuits film, he didn’t expect to find such a hotbed of uncelebrated talent.

Anastasis Anastasiou rocked up on a beaten-up Specialized Pitch and instantly impressed with his unique, committed riding and clicked tables (see what we mean in his recent film, Blood, Sweat & Trails).

This shot sums up everything that is great about being a dirtbag riding bikes: no need for the latest and greatest technology or perfect machine-built tracks. Just head out down the woods, shape a lip and send it to the moon.

One of our all-time favourite moments captured in a special image. It was also the cover of Spent 1, our pocketbook of all things bicycles and dirt.

Why buy from Misspent Summers
Misspent Summers is an independent company run by passionate mountain bikers. You may think it is a small organisation, but it’s probably much smaller than you think. That’s why every single purchase makes a big difference and helps us keep the lights on, doing our work recording the history of mountain biking and hopefully inspiring people to ride more bikes.
