Dreamy Dust - Andy Lloyd

The end of a long day shooting for Dirt Magazine in Vallnord Bikepark, heading back down to the town of La Massana for some beers. For once, I was leading friend and colleague James McKnight on (what is now) a fun blue run back to the valley floor.

As I flew out into a clearing about halfway down, I looked back to see the evening sunlight streaming through the trees and my recently kicked up dust. James came into view through the cloud of dust and at that moment I saw the shot. Grabbing my camera from my bag, I sent him back up, but with the lack of a lead rider to create the dust I improvised, lobbing handfuls of dust up into the trees to create the same effect.
